yall remember ib????? bc i cant stop thinking abt garry i love him so much
It seems like most people don't know this so I thought I'd share:
Conditioner, or cream rinse, or whatever you wanna call it, actually works better if you apply it to your hair before you get it wet because the water can block it from sinking into your hair. I imagine it's something like the way it's difficult to rub in lotion when your skin is wet. I put conditioner on my hair before I get in the shower.

PS~Since I'm at it, I figure I'll add:
Oil is often a response from your scalp to dryness. So quite often, conditioner will not make your hair more oily, it will make it less.
You shouldn't wash your hair every day, you'll wash all the nutrients out of it. Every other day or less is better. (Actually, if your hair is oily, it might be from washing it too often.)
Hot water is bad for your hair and scalp. Luke warm or cool water is better. (This helped me a lot with dandruff and itchiness.)
You don't have to shampoo the ends of your hair. Washing the hair that touches your scalp is usually enough, the runoff is enough to clean the rest.
Not all dandruff shampoos have the same active ingrediant, and one that works for one person may not work for another, or may even make things worse. So, make sure you take a look at the active ingrediants when you buy it.
(I've had trouble with oiliness, dryness, split ends, dry scalp, and dandruff in the past, so I've read quite a lot about simple hair-care things. I thought these might help someone out. *shrugs*)
